Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to explore DIGEIS DINOS, including people who use a keyboard or a screen reader, and people who need less motion on screen.
What we've done
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Every button and link works with a keyboard and shows a clear outline when it's selected.
- Every control has a name that matches the words you see on it.
- Small text has a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against what's behind it, including over the 3D.
- “Pause motion”, at the top and bottom of the page, stops everything that moves by itself. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site does this for you.
- If your device can't show 3D, you get a flat version of the site with all the same words.
How we check
We test every page with automated accessibility tools, measure the contrast of the words over the 3D scenes by hand, and use the site with a keyboard alone. We haven't yet tested every page with every screen reader, so some things may still get in the way.
